More Goth than Gothic?
Gothic perpendicular, It’s a fantastic building, with gargoyles vying with cctv cameras for the high ground, the Prudential Building always seems as if it is newer than it is (late 19th century) while it is trying to be older than it is (14th Century) but I’d dare day everyone who knows it is fond of it. And, it has special relevance to London Daily Photo – more tomorrow.

Why are you labeled goth when you wear more than one black item?
I wore a black necklace, shirt, pants, shoes. i can sort of understand why they’d call ME gothic. but actully it’s a form of art NOT A LABEL. anyway there was a girl who wore one all black shirt and people immedienty called her a goth. *sigh* people can be so nieve

Depends what type of clothes it is but yes i totally agree with
you people can be so narrow-minded i wore a a sleeveless black dress with black 4 – inch heels that would be called sheik in my opinion not goth.

Yes, ignorant is more like it. People are scared senseless by Gothism and they feel less threatened if they think they automatically know you and all about you, and what you might throw at them.

Its probably all how you wear it. I wear a lot of black and no one calls me goth (maybe because I’m Black, lol! I don’t know) Anyway. If you have on a black button up shirt and a black pencil skirt, I doubt someone would call you goth. I think the goth look has a lot to do with they type of clothing worn as well as how their makeup is applied.
P.S. I agree, people can be naive… and some of them never grow out of it.

Because people associate black with being goth. They don’t realise that being goth isn’t just a fashion statement. It just shows how shallow some people are.

I wear all black t-shirts and I don’t get called goth. But I suppose that is because my black t-shirt says bench on it!
