Like robsutherland, I’m just back from a weekend in London. It’s a wonderful place. I never thought I’d like the city so much. But indeed it’s huge, it’s a capitol. I haven’t been on either one place of those you’ve mentioned. But perhaps I’ll next time when I’m in London.

I thought I would hate London, but I loved it.
I was there for 2 days, and I saw 3 famous people – Jeremy Kyle, Nigel Havers and McNulty from The Wire.
Low point? Some spoilt brat teen girl walked past me in top shop while I waiting for my Mrs who was trying something on, and I heard her say to her gay male friend “you know, I don’t really like this top, but Ive got so much money Im just gonna buy it anyway” – what an awful, awful human.

London really is …
London really is the greatest city in the world. If you’ve come here and not been impressed you obviously haven’t explored enough.
There are millions of fascinating places in the city, millions of stories to be told and millions of things happening that you would never find outside of London. Don’t just stick to Big Ben/the London Eye/Trafalgar Square and think that’s all there is to the city, delve a little deeper.
